David Sollars has been a healthcare solutions entrepreneur for more than 28 years. He is a practitioner of integrative medicine, author, medical educator, leadership development speaker and trainer.

David was the legislative chair for the state acupuncture organization and participated in the foundational negotiations that lead to licensure of acupuncture in the mid 1980’s. He then founded a series of successful Integrative Medical clinics that pioneered the then uncommon practices of a combined conventional and integrative medical staff. These clinics became centers of trusted patient care and medical education, being called on to present bridge building lectures to state and national medical audiences on integrative medical practice and principles for patient centered care.  He also taught sustainable methods for integrative practice management including developing value added business relationships with hospitals, medical practices and insurance companies, while developing workplace wellness programs for the private sector. He has maintained an integrative medical private practice for over twenty-seven years.

He has specialized in the design and delivery of live practitioner training programs as well as conducting conference calls and webinars to worldwide audiences. His teaching emphasizes developing effective connection and communication skills, personal and organizational leadership development that both foster and effectively implement improved practitioner and patient performance.  David is a senior editor for Natural Standard, medical research writing collaborative, which published  Herb & Supplement, Evidence Based Clinical Reviews also Herb & Supplement, The Clinical Bottom Line as well as numerous articles in The Journal of Herbal Pharmacotherapy and Alternative and Complementary Therapies magazine. David is a frequent media contributor to television, newspapers, radio, magazine articles, blogs and other publications that focus on Integrative Medical leadership, effective medical communication skills, wellness trends and program development.

David enjoys volunteering his energies and abilities to his community through his service with non-profit organizations. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Challenge Unlimited at Ironstone Farm, a therapeutic riding center for individuals with disabilities, serving over 92 communities in the greater Boston region. He is a current member and past-president of the Rotary Club of Andover, volunteers his time assisting with many non-profit organization’s board development and strategic planning.
