Holger Wrede, Esq.

Member of the Board of Directors

Mr. Wrede has a background as an international attorney and has worked in international banking for large companies. He moved into the entertainment world by becoming an advisor to the Founder and Chairman of the Kirch Group. Wrede worked as an attorney, advisor and negotiator for the worldwide deals that Kirch was involved in, including with all Hollywood majors, a joint venture deal with RCA and sponsors for the cultural television programs of the Kirch Group. Wrede left Kirch to pursue his interests and love for the American Cowboy which turned into an involvement with U.S. Television Office, Inc., owner of the Hopalong Cassidy motion picture film library. Wrede secured all Hopalong Cassidy rights in 1985 and is currently the President. His efforts to restore the library culminated in a major license to Starz Encore’s Westerns Channel. Wrede has also arranged for a major museum exhibit of the Hopalong Cassidy Collection which toured to the National Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma, American Museum of the Moving Image and the Gene Autry Western Heritage Center. Wrede is now negotiating for the production of a new Hopalong Cassidy movie and the creation of new Hopalong Cassidy merchandising based on the old as well as prospective Hopalong Cassidy characters.
