As an author, Psychologist and workshop facilitator, Sandra Thebaud has helped thousands of individuals become aware of the misunderstandings and myths around stress that keep people from reducing their stress. She is dedicated to creating ah-ha moments that precipitate change, not just provide information.
Sandra is a former Lieutenant Commander who spent four years as a Navy Psychologist and consultant to the Marine Corps’ 1 Special Forces Group. It was during her first year in the Navy that she was tasked with teaching Stress Management to the medical staff despite having no formal knowledge of stress management. After doing much research, Sandra presented on Stress Management and did so several times afterwards. She began facilitating groups for her patients on stress management as well. After serving her country, she worked as a Behavioral Medicine Consultant and Hospital Consultant for Kaiser Permanente while remaining on inactive duty for seven more years. Again, Sandra found herself helping people overcome stress. These experiences have led Sandra to become an expert in stress management and create workshops for organizations to increase the their knowledge of stress management. She recently published a book called The Art of Loving Life, based on her most effective workshop.
Sandra is now the founder of Paramount Transitions, a firm dedicated to providing quality onsite and online learning in the areas of Stress Management for both companies and individuals. She currently lives in Colorado with her two children.
