Alison A. Caldwell-Andrews, PhD, Licensed Psychologist, Researcher, Educator and Author. Dr. Caldwell-Andrews Andrews is committed to offering quality care in the context of compassion, ethics and effectiveness for persons confronted with a range of emotional, behavioral and relationship stresses. Individual and group therapies are offered. In addition, Dr. Caldwell-Andrews is an entertaining and informative public speaker on topics of mind-body health and motivation.
Dr. Caldwell-Andrews received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Kentucky in 2000, and completed a post-doc in Mind-Body Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine. As research faculty at Yale, she conducted clinical research studies on interventions designed to reduce anxiety in adults, families and children. During this time she published nearly 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals, acted as a reviewer for several journals, and personally received two grants from the National Institute of Health (NIH).
After her work at Yale, Dr. Caldwell-Andrews moved into clinical work and consulting. She embraces a holistic context that includes physiological as well as psychological areas of functioning. In addition to clinical and consulting work, Dr. Caldwell-Andrews is finishing her first book on the topic of mind-body connections between physiological and psychological stress.
